I visited Dr. Toran KC at Nepal Mediciti Hospital on July 30 for a routine check-up to address an itchy throat, persistent cough, potential allergies, and my past hearing history. Despite charging a high consultation fee of Rs 1,500, Dr. KC barely spent 2 minutes with me. He gave minimal attention to my medical concerns before abruptly transferring me to another doctor (Dr. Chandan Baranwal). For a senior doctor and Head of Department, his lack of empathy, poor bedside manner, and complete lack of professionalism were alarming. Charging premium rates without giving patients basic attention or courtesy is unacceptable. I left feeling completely dismissed and disappointed. I would not recommend him to anyone looking for thorough or compassionate ENT care.
